Food culture and design culture told through images, in which food and car design reveal their profound, rigorous and sophisticated nature. I am thought even before I am Form; I am vision, a tireless quest They are architecture, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship and management, and at the same time art and poetry. They turn an idea into a project and the art of taste into a tangible emotion.
Food and design are a universal language. They know no boundaries; they tolerate no divisions. Food and design speak to everyone – to the whole of humanity. They form a bridge between cultures, sensibilities and eras. At the heart of the project lies the concept of taste, which is not merely about savouring food but something far deeper: it is aesthetic sensibility, culture and identity. Just as car design finds its highest expression through Formula 1, seeking beauty, reason and emotion, striking a balance between technical prowess and elegance.
A project in which, once again, food and design engage in a dialogue between memory, innovation and tradition, becoming a distinctive symbol of the most fascinating ‘Made in Italy’.
An exhibition accompanied by the publication of a book by Sfera Edizioni Bari, which recounts the close synergy between food, design and Formula 1, helping visitors to better understand our Italian excellence. A philosophy that extends beyond the car and can be applied to any love of ‘Made in Italy’ – a celebration of our identity. After all, food and car design help to give shape to dreams, to transform speed into emotion, taste into identity, and technology into art. This is precisely the aim of the exhibition ‘The Taste of Speed – A journey through food, design and Formula 1, the hallmark of Made in Italy’. An exhibition that promotes Italian excellence around the world: Italian food and design, their culture and the pursuit of beauty, whilst grounding them in the reality of production.
